Just like learning anything new, like driving a car, animal communication takes practice, patience, and the right mindset.

How My Students Achieve Animal Communication

Let’s rewind to the first time you sat behind the wheel of a car. Remember how overwhelming it was? Steering, brakes, gas, traffic signs, and even distractions like a chatty passenger or the radio—it felt like a lot!  Did you master all of those things the first time you sat behind the wheel?  Probably not.  You learned to FOCUS. 

Learning animal communication is very similar. It’s about tuning into your intuitive abilities while managing the “distractions” of doubt, random thoughts, and self-criticism.

But just like learning how to drive, practice makes perfect!  You learn how to ease into your state of FOCUS the more you play around with your intuition. 

Your Intuition: The Tool for Telepathic Communication

We all have intuition—it’s your inner psychic sense, the 6th sense. Think of it as the bridge that strengthens your connection to animals. Whether messages come through as visions, gut feelings, or inner voices, learning to trust your intuition is key.

At first, distractions might throw you off course. Random thoughts or self-doubt might interrupt the telepathic messages you’re receiving. But with practice, you’ll learn to navigate through them—just like steering past a pothole or reacting to a car cutting you off.

I focus on how to navigate those interruptions in my courses.  Believe me, I've certainly overcome my share of self-doubts over the years, and helped so many others to do the same!

Consistency is the Key to Pet Communication Success

When I was learning how to connect with my animals telepathically, I practiced daily for two years before even attempting to communicate with other animals. There were no animal communication classes back then!

To stay consistent, I tracked every message I received. This built my confidence so I knew I was accurate. 

Plus your animals want you to succeed in this journey of telepathic communication.  Just like my horse, Howie, who physically nodded his head when I asked if he liked a certain treat or if he agreed with a statement that I was thinking about in my head.  Howie was a very demonstrative Arabian (if you know, you know).  I thought, oh, I'm on to something here!   Or my dog, Jack, who turned his head toward me when I telepathically asked him to! 

These small confirmations built my confidence and strengthened my psychic connection.

Some folks claim this is just a coincidence or lucky timing but when it happens most of the time, you realize you are really making a connection.  

One of the best suggestions I have for someone learning how to make that connection, is to pay close attention to the animal (if you are near them).  It's not reading body language but asking the animal if they understand you.  Can they do something like flick an ear or soften an expression, wink an eye, if they understand you.  If your pet isn't near you, I have other suggestions that can help you with feeling confident in the message exchange. 

But really, why bother?  Isn't having a stronger bond with your dear animals just about them getting treats and pets?  No, there's so much more you can achieve when you better understand why your pet does what they do.  Truly, there is so much more you can learn about your pet when you communicate telepathically with them.   This is what you want!

Your Animals Want You to Hear Them

Believe me, your animals are just as eager to communicate with you as you are with them. They cherish you even more when you truly understand them beyond body language.

For instance, my cats often snuggle on my lap during my morning tea. If they suddenly jump off, I ask them telepathically, “Why did you leave so soon?” One day, I got a clear answer: “Your hand lotion smells too strong!”

Their intuitive response helped me realize how sensitive they are to smells. Now, I only use lotions they’re comfortable with.

Just think of all the ways you can improve the lives of your animals!
